We actively promote the inclusion of people with disabilities and are committed to making the working environment at our institute more accessible step by step. Therefore we strive to develop a barrier-free working environment at the institute and to offer individual support. Because we know that not everything is 100% barrier-free here either.
To ensure that all employees can develop their full potential, we have already achieved a number of things: our workstations are ergonomically designed. Employees can use height-adjustable desks and individually adjustable office chairs.
Flexible working is part of this. Because we understand that rigid structures are not suitable for every employee. That's why we have flexible working hours, enable part-time work and offer mobile working in many areas. In individual cases, we take individual care, find solutions and equip workplaces according to requirements - if necessary, also in cooperation with the integration office.
For example, we have equipped meeting rooms for an employee with a hearing impairment so that he can hear everything in meetings with many people. A sign language interpreter can also be organized for him if required.
